 ABOUT US - MISSION
|
The mission of the Donaldsonville Area Chamber of Commerce is to provide leadership for growth and support of commerce, trade, and community good will in Ascension Parish and its surrounding areas. The Chamber works toward this goal by creating an active forum for communication between the interests of business, industry, local and parish government, civic and religious leaders, and concerned members of the community. The Donaldsonville Area Chamber of Commerce presents many opportunities for members to network. One of the main objectives of the Chamber is to help its members form a referral system. The Chamber sponsors events such as breakfasts, business after-hours, business card exchanges, banquets, festivals and monthly meetings. The Chamber continually works on new and innovative ideas for marketing and advertising. We offer several programs such as our USDA low interest loan program, gift certificate program, and member discount program. The Donaldsonville Chamber of Commerce is always looking for good business partners to help us promote the City of Donaldsonville and our members.
