ABOUT THIS ISSUE'S COVER - It is time for us to slow down with our busy schedules and give thanks. Here at THE CHAMBER VOICE we are thankful to our advertisers. Without your support THE VOICE could not be heard. We are thankful to Nez, Bridget and Harry Hoyler. Without their dedication in the distribution department, THE VOICE would not be received. We are thankful to all of our new members who have joined The Chamber. Working together with the oldest and largest business organization in our area gets things accomplished. We give thanks to a dedicated staff and the board of directors at The Chamber who truly care about the importance of economic development and our city in general. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL. 
Art Show features new resident The Grapevine Café and Gallery hosted an art reception for the opening of Dawn Roussell’s “Behold this Dream a Cometh.” This is the first official showing of Dawn’s work. “My work has always been a personal thing. I didn’t share it,” states Dawn. 
Shops open during the ASHA tour Shopping and dining will be available before, during, and after the ASHA’s Christmas on the Bayou, Tour of Homes. 
Christmas on the Bayou is here ASHA invites us to join them in the holiday celebration as eight beautifully decorated homes will be open for tour Sunday, December 3rd. The tour begins at 12:00 noon until 5:00PM.
