ABOUT THIS ISSUE'S COVER - Hollywood has noticed the talent we have here in Donaldsonville. Local actor Richard Zeringue has landed a major part in the new Fox network K’ville, a crime drama based on the devastation of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Will LeBlanc with Casablanca Productions has been spending time in his hometown interviewing locals on the history of Donaldsonville. The video will premire at the ASHA membership banquet in October. more

New Radio Show On KKAY 1590 AM Donaldsonville, La. – Marcelle Bienvenu, food columnist for The Times-Picayune in New Orleans and a cookbook author, will be hosting a new talk show on KKAY 1590 AM radio. The show will air on Friday afternoons from 3:15 to 4:30. more
