We rang in the new year from the dome all the way to Railroad Avenue. The Avenue was filled with food, fun, and music. Fireworks lighted the sky at midnight. L' Applause: The Louisiana Black Film Festival The 2007 Black History Month program and exhibit will be collaboration between the River Road African American Museum and the Old State Capitol Museum. more
Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet Our annual Chamber of Commerce banquet will be held Tuesday, February 27th. Socializing will begin at 6:30PM with the banquet festivities beginning at 7:00PM. The location will be Palazzo Bernardo’s. Awards for Citizen of the Year and Teenager of the Year will be handed out. more
Citizen of the Year Award The Donaldsonville Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting written nominations for its Citizens of the Year award, announced annually at the Chamber Banquet. more
