| Caffe Deville owner, Asim Munir, is pictured with Carol McEvoy and daughter Marina Colardo. Carol is orginally from Michigan and resides in Spain. Her daughter moved from Spain to New Orleans where she is employed. The pair were touring our Plantation Country and our city’s museums. They took a break from the sight-seeing to enjoy coffee and desserts at Caffe Deville. |

She began her birthday celebration at Cypress Cafe and ended at Cypress Bayou Casino. “We took the Indian’s land so now they are taking our money,” she stated. Evidently her luck is in good living and not in gambling. |

| Cynthia Schneider hosted a Chef’s birthday party December 29th at her new home on Iberville Street for the Eure triplets’ sixth birthday. The girls and their guests shared “hands on” cooking lessons. Do we see white chocolate bread pudding in triplicate? |

| Can you believe I was at a football game? This is how we rang in the New Year, at the New Orleans Saints game in the Dome. Becky removed a wall plaque from her living room and it got us on the New Orleans Saints.com website. |

| The annual Senior Christmas dinner was hosted by the Donaldsonville Rotary. The popular event sponsored by Cliff Ourso State Farm Insurance, was held at Palazzo Bernardo’s in December. Guillot Realty, Inc. provided the music. |

Marion Ceasar, center, hand delivered gift certificates from her son, NFL football player and Donaldsonville native, Jarvis Green, to 15 people at the Blum Center. Marion said the gifts were directed to the three housing program in the city.

| Dalton Esnealult addressed the poor condition of the flag flying at the Post Office. Cynthia Buggage, outreach director for U.S. Rep. Charlie Melancon at the time presented a U.S. flag that flew over the Capitol in Washington D.C. to our Post Office.
