Secretary Day is here Again

All you bosses out there it’s time to mark your calendar for our annual Secretary’s Day Luncheon to be held April 23rd at the Grapevine Café and Gallery.

Someone will be contacting you soon for door prize donations. Your generosity has enabled to make this an enjoyable luncheon celebrating the administrative professionals in our workforce.

Invitations will be mailed out in early April. Please don’t delay as seating is limited. This continues to be a sold-out event.

Art, Antiques, and Authors in April

The Donaldsonville Chamber of Commerce is inviting everyone to Louisiana’s Bicentennial City to enjoy a weekend filled with art, antiques, and authors along with food, music, and vintage automobiles. Fresh spring bedding plants for your flower beds will also be on sale.

The event kicks off Saturday, April 14th at 10:00AM. Vendors with antiques and collectibles will be located in the ASHA Museum. Entertainment and food will be sold in Crescent Park adjacent to the museum. Area artists will display their work and local authors will be available for book signings. The festivities continue Sunday, April 15th with more music and shopping.

The opening reception for the Parish Bicentennial Celebration will take place Sunday, April 15th at 2:00PM on Louisiana Square. At that time a time capsule will be buried on site. Everyone is invited to attend.

This is a great opportunity to bring the family to enjoy the charm of Donaldsonville’s historic district, the second largest historic district in Louisiana.

Time Capsule to Mark Parish Bicentennial

Opening ceremonies will take place in Donaldsonville to kick off the Bicentennial Celebration for Ascension Parish. A time capsule will be buried in Louisiana Square Sunday, April 15th at 2:00PM.
