After the Hunt Wins Award Chef John Folse has bee selected for the 2008 Louisiana Literary Award for his cookbook “After the Hunt.” The award is presented annually by the Louisiana Library Association. more
 
River Parish Community College Wins Honor River Parish Community College has been recognized by the Corporation for National and Community Service by placing it on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to disadvantaged youth through the university’s Book Buddy Program.more
