VOICES OF THE CHAMBER

Annual Membership Banquet Held Chamber members joined together January 30th to honor our 2008 Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Teenager of the Year.

Guest speaker for the event was Secretary of State Jay Dardenne. Dardenne’s musical presentation of “Louisiana…It Ain’t Mississippi” proved to be an entertaining overview of Louisiana and its colorful world of politics. His recommended reading list of ten books each began with a musical soundtrack. The chamber would like to once again thank Mike LeBlanc for providing an outstanding speaker. more
