ABOUT THIS ISSUE'S COVER - Over 100 secretaries, administrative assistants, or working women (whatever you prefer to call them) filled Café Lafourche for the annual Secretaries Day luncheon. The theme for this year’s event was The Chamber’s Big Give, and what a Big Give it proved to be. Vera Sanchez’s hard work provided a door prize for EVERY lady in attendance. Dub Noel was awarded “the man prize.” Chamber member and musician Anthony Marcello was kind enough to spend his lunch hour serenading the ladies. We remind the ladies to thank the businesses that contributed to the door prizes. They make the event “happen”. more
