The Department of Health and Hospitals selected Prevost Hospital to conduct a community assessment of the hospital. Three groups of “opinion leaders” held meetings throughout the day in April. We under-estimate the power of the mighty Mississippi until the water level begins to rise every spring. The city and surrounding areas would not be threatened unless the river reaches 38 feet. |
| Members of our community joined millions of Americans across the country in expressng our dependence upon the God whose grace has guided this nation’s growth and progress since its birth more than 200 years ago on Thursday, May 1, 2008 for the National Day of Prayer. Mayor Leroy Sullivan celebrated this day with local ministers, pastors, and priests at the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast held at the Lemann Center. |
