We under-estimate the power of the mighty Mississippi until the water level begins to rise every spring. The city and surrounding areas would not be threatened unless the river reaches 38 feet. |

Mayor Leroy Sullivan celebrated this day with local ministers, pastors, and priests at the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast held at the Lemann Center. |
