ABOUT THIS ISSUE'S COVER - A lot has happened since our August issue. September brought us Gustav followed by Ike. I decided to focus on getting back to our normal routines rather than sensationalizing what we have been through. I didn’t think it was necessary to cover hurricane damage as we are well aware it is still around us and are still feeling the impact it left on our lives, homes, and businesses. In this issue you will see how the Chamber of Commerce’s on the east and west bank joined to host a membership banquet. We are still one parish regardless of the separation of the river. Together we focus on the future of Ascension parish for the betterment of Donaldsonville and its business environment. more
