ABOUT THIS ISSUE'S COVER - The Historic Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville hosts a major Food Fest/Auction/Raffle fundraiser to assist with church preservation/air-conditioning/heating issues on Sunday, November 15th, at the Donaldsonville Lemann Center (1100 Clay St.). Doors open at 10:45 a.m. Great seafood Hors d’oeuvres (11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) followed by more great banquet food (12:30-2:00 p.m.). Big live auction (2:00-4:00 p.m.). Silent auction and entertainment throughout the feast. The cover of this issue of Chamber Voice is an original drawing by Regina Oubre that will be available at the auction. Cost is $50.00 a person and includes all food and drink. Call the church office at (225) 473-3176 for tickets and other information. more
